Meditation is one of the most important components of Yoga, which is a mind-body therapy involving a series of exercises. The word 'meditation' covers many disparate practices from visualizing situations, focusing on objects or images, thinking through a complex idea, or even getting lost in a provocative book, all qualifying as meditation in the broad sense. This itinerary will take one to the vicinity of Rishikesh, where luxury and natural beauty has a unique blend.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Delhi:
Arrive at Delhi airport. Received by Angad Tour Representative Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Delhi: City tour Delhi.
After break fast the tour will begin with sightseeing of New Delhi: the capital of the nation has long been a phoenix rising again and again, out of its ruins. See the famous Qutab Minar-12th century 238 Ft. tall stone tower, indeed a masterpiece of construction, Humayun tomb-built by widow of the second Mughal King Humayun in 1265. New Delhi was the creation of the British Raj of the 30's and includes the President's House, Parliament, India Gate, The Rajpath and Downtown Connaught Place. Lunch at a restaurant.

In the evening tour will continue with sightseeing of Old Delhi: for something close to Rudyard Kipling, visit the 17th century Old Delhi; Jama Masjid - the biggest Mosque in India and Rajghat memorial, where father of the nation Gandhi was cremated.

Day 3 Delhi - Haridwar – Rishikesh: Drive Delhi to Rishikesh via Haridwar.


After Breakfast early morning leave for Rishikesh (145 Miles - 5 hr) by car. In the afternoon Arrive at Rishikesh - the holy city of saints. Check in your hotel - "The Glasshouse on the Ganges "- Set in a lychees and mango orchard of The Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal, with a garden of tropical plants, full of rare birds and butterflies, it has a sand beach of its own. You can sunbathe, hike, river raft and can fish with a permit. Or you can visit the temples and ashrams for evening arti. A few of the ashrams in and around Rishikesh are.

Day 8 Rishikesh – Drive to Delhi.


Early morning advance yoga class with question answer session helping in assessment of change in personality during the course. After breakfast. In the evening drive to Delhi. Upon arrival check into hotel. Fare well dinner is been organized.

Day 9 Delhi: Day free for shopping, packing and leisure activities.

Day 10 Delhi: Transfer to the airport for the onward journey.


Day 8 Rishikesh – Shivpuri: Drive to Shivpuri and explore flora and fauna. Morning drive to Shivpuri by car, arrive & check in Nature camp resort. After a welcome drink & briefing about the whole schedule. Late afternoon optional hiking in the reserve forest around the Nature Camp Resort. Campfire followed by dinner & overnight stay.

Day 9 Shivpuri: Yoga, meditation and river rafting.

Early morning wake up for a Yoga class followed by relaxation of body & mind. After yogic breakfast drive to Byasi / Kaudiyala to start the rafting up to Shivpuri. Hit the most exciting rapids on Ganges. Lunch at nature camp resort. Free time for own activities. Evening meditation and relaxation followed by campfire & dinner at camp.

Day 10 Shivpuri: Trek to Kunjapuri, yoga amidst nature and wild life safari.

Early morning wake up for one and half hour drive to Hindolakhal, arrive and start trek to Kunjapuri. After exploring the area for some time join the class for Asanas, relaxation & meditation. Witness the sunrise on Greater Himalayan peaks and afterwards trace your steps back to Nature camp resort. Free time for own activities. After lunch drive to Chilla for a wildlife Safari. In the evening drive back to Nature camp resort for Dinner & night halt.

Day 11 Shivpuri – Delhi: Drive to Delhi.

Early morning advance yoga class with question answer session helping in assessment of change in personality during the course. After breakfast we raft down from the Shivpuri to Rishikesh assessing leadership qualities, team spirit and training for rescue. Lunch at Brahampuri. In the evening drive to Delhi. Upon arrival check into hotel. Fare well dinner is been organized.

Day 12 Delhi: Day free for shopping, packing and leisure activities.

Day 13 Delhi: Transfer to the Airport for the onward Journey.

Day 4 Rishikesh – Narender Nagar: Excursion to Narender Nagar.

After breakfast visit the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and temples in Rishikesh. Afterwards drive by car (40 km -1 hrs) to Narender Nagar An extremely picturesque drive through the hilly areas culminates in the final breathtaking ascent to Ananda. On arrival, check in at the Ananda in the Himalayas and rest of the day free for personal activities or can go for a message sessions or various oil treatments available at the resort.

Day 5 Ananda: Yoga and Ayurvedic rejuvenation program begins

Day 8 Ananda: Learn the secret of ‘Kundan-Kaya' perfect body and soul.

These elements in combination give rise to three main biological forces or principles in the human body, called doshas - vata, pitta and kapha. As every human being has one dosha is typically predominant in our constitution and ascertains our personality. Day 9 Ananda: Meditation unbinds your soul. Obtain knowledge of eternal light.

It gives a greater sense of relaxation in both mind and body, Greater flexibility of thinking, an ability to meet situations with freshness and insight. Day 10 Ananda:Ayurvedic spa and massage.

Experience optimum well being through a full menu of treatments at Spa and renewal of energies. Immerse yourself in hydrotherapy or rejuvenate yourself in the sauna, spa, steam room and hot and cold plunge baths. Redefine your body and replenish your skin, with purifying, and conditioning body wraps. Distil the natural powers and properties of fruits and flowers.

Day 11 Ananda – Delhi:Drive to Delhi (140 miles - 5 hrs) After breakfast drive by car to Delhi. Arrive and Transfer to Hotel or to airport for onward journey.
